The Australian Education Union Victorian Branch is hosting an online Casual Relief Teacher Conference. The conference titles is Keeping Your Voice, Finding Our Voice.

I will be keynote speaker on the topic of voice care and safety for working teaching professionals. Voice loss and injury is an over-represented injury in the teaching profession and a sustainable career requires maintaining the voice as well as monitoring its health.

Following the keynote, I will need a workshop on teacher voice and agency, in which participants will consider ways that they can advocate for their safety - that is, using their voice to save their voices!
